Eric Trump Predicts $1M Bitcoin at Asia 2025 Conference

Trump highlights institutional demand and nation-state adoption as key drivers of Bitcoin’s future surge

Eric Trump, son of US President Donald Trump and co-founder of mining firm American Bitcoin (ABTC), doubled down on his long-term bullish outlook for Bitcoin at the Bitcoin Asia 2025 conference in Hong Kong, declaring there is “no question” BTC will reach $1 million per coin.

Trump emphasized accelerating demand from nation-states, Fortune 500 companies, and major institutional investors, arguing that Bitcoin’s role as a digital store of value is becoming undeniable. He noted that despite the rapid growth of adoption, most market participants still fail to grasp the transformative potential of digital money, making today’s buyers “early” in the cycle.

Gryphon and American Bitcoin merger approved as BTC faces market pullback

In parallel, shareholders of Gryphon Digital Mining approved a reverse merger with ABTC, paving the way for a relisting under the ABTC ticker on the Nasdaq in September. Gryphon’s stock has soared over 230% since the initial deal announcement in May 2025 and gained another 42% ahead of the merger’s completion.

The move comes as Bitcoin experiences a short-term correction, sliding nearly 13% from its record high of $124,500 and dropping below its 50-day EMA. Analysts suggest the dip could put near-term pressure on BTC’s price, even as industry leaders like Trump project a multi-year climb toward the $1 million milestone.
