Mint Runes with Xverse

Minting is the actual creation of the runes tokens based on the specifications set during the etching.

Mint Runes

Step 1: Visit the Xverse and select the “Explorer” tab in the navigation bar.

Step 2: Click on “Runes” in the nav bar on the left side of the page and than click “Connect Wallet”.

Step 3: Browse the popular Runes displayed on the dashboard, or use the search field to find a specific Rune you want to mint.

Once you’ve selected a Rune, click on “Mint“.

Step 4: Set Minting Order Details

• Destination Address: By default, the connected Taproot address is automatically set as the receiving address. If you prefer to mint to a different address, simply input your desired destination address.
• Repeat Mints: To mint multiple Runes at once, specify the number of mints you’d like to repeat.

Step 5: “Minting Fees” section shows you how much it costs for Minting Runes.

You can also set the network fee here. The picture shows “Medium 3 Sat/vB” and “Custom“. Click on “Custom” to set the network fee rate. Then click “Submit & Pay”

Step 6: Submit and Pay the Transaction

After confirming your details, submit the mint request. You will need to sign the transaction and pay using Bitcoin from your payment address.

The minting process takes 10-20 minutes. After this time, you will see the Rune you minted in your wallet.

This tutorial explains how to mint Rune tokens using the Xverse wallet. Users start by connecting their wallet, selecting a Rune from the Explorer tab, and setting minting details such as the destination address and minting fees. After submitting and signing the transaction, the newly minted Rune tokens will appear in the wallet within 10-20 minutes.
