Michael Saylor’s Net Worth Soars $1B as He Joins Bloomberg Billionaire Index

Strategy co-founder debuts on world’s wealthiest list after stock surge
Michael Saylor, co-founder and executive chairman of Strategy, has seen his fortune swell by $1 billion in 2025, earning him a debut spot on the Bloomberg Billionaire 500 Index.
Saylor now ranks 491st with an estimated net worth of $7.37 billion, up nearly 16% since January. Much of his wealth is tied to Strategy stock, which has risen 12% this year, while around $650 million sits in cash, according to Bloomberg’s index data.

Crypto billionaires join elite ranks
Saylor joins other high-profile crypto executives on Bloomberg’s list, including Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, worth $12.8 billion, and Binance founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, who sits near the top with $44.5 billion.
Strategy, the largest corporate Bitcoin holder, currently owns about 659,739 BTC – equal to 3.4% of the circulating supply. Despite its massive accumulation, the firm maintains its buying methods avoid moving the market.

Strategy faces S&P 500 setback despite growth
While Saylor celebrates his billionaire index debut, Strategy stock has slipped 12% over the past month, even after a 2.5% gain on Friday.
The company’s absence from the S&P 500, despite being in the Nasdaq 100, has raised questions among investors. Analysts say the index committee could still block its inclusion after applying a broader review beyond technical requirements.
